About Paul Demenok

Paul and his wife Sue moved to the Shuswap from Ontario in 2009. They quickly became involved in many activities and charities in their area including the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Blind Bay Bunch, Shuswap Estates Community Association, Salmon Arm curling and Shuswap Lake Estates golf. In 2012 Paul was elected as the Area C Director for the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, where he served for 3 terms until 2022. Along the way Paul helped to bring forward the CSRD Area C Official Community Plan, building inspection, Shuswap Watershed Council, park improvements in Sunnybrae, White Lake, Sorrento, and Eagle Bay, Shuswap Economic Development Society, South Shuswap Non-Profit Network, Area C Liquid Waste Management Plan, CSRD Strategic Plan, Area C Governance and Incorporation Studies, revised Development policies and guidelines, docks and buoys bylaw, South Shuswap Housing Society, and South Shuswap Transportation Society.
